Cool What can I do to gain NA Power?

Well I have a 2jzge vvti motor completely stock but I want to bump up the hp other than intake, headers, exhaust all motor for now. Just so o can have a little bit of fun with the car. Then a manual 5spd conversion and that's all I have planned for now. Turbo later on.

Your going to spend more on bumping up naturally aspirated power than boosting it. However if you get to peak NA then boost it, you will not need as much boost to make power. If you still want to go this way there are some decent options. besides header, intake and exhaust, there is always cams, cam gears, raised compression (bad for boost unless E-85 conversion is in the mix) Intake manifold and 75mm throttle body, plugs, electric water pump, lightened pulleys( no under drive ones) and of course a stand alone or really good piggy back to tune with. I thought about this cus i got an itch for some power, but now i learned how much its really going to cost.

What about porting the head? because it's a vvti motor I don't think much can be done and am trying to learn. I just want to have like 300+ hp. enough to beat a stock g37

higher compression, higher octane, more timing, and EMS is about the only way you'll get 300hp non-turbo.

total waste of money, as far as power gains goes.

I can assure you, that's never gonna happen

. . . not NA anyway.

(unless of course, you have absolutely unlimited funds and a lack of common sense)

i'd honestly just put a 75 wet shot on it and knock the distributor back a couple degrees.

With NA I would just do a full tune up to restore any lost power rather than trying to gain power, just not cost effective.

Do an overhaul on the engine and a 75 shot.
