Default Power gains without turbo?

I would like a little more power from my car. Nothing really crazy. I have a 94 sc300. Bonestock except for BFI and catback. What is a good wat to get a little more power (20-50hp) without a turbo?

You won't get any more than 15 horsepower for under $1000. And if anyone wants to dispute that show me something whose results are NOT read out on a butt dyno that gained 15+ HP for under $1000

You know, I don't know what it is but I like your enthusiasm man . Here's what I recommend. Get your car CLEAN. Super clean. Like fix absolutely everything wrong with it. Take care of all maintenance. Don't add a single mod until that is done. Change your belts, plugs, wires, fluids, etc. Take her to dinner before you start trying to open her up if you catch my drift . And enjoy the hell out of the car as-is over the next year while you heavily research how to boost your car. Get to know some of your local SC guys. Participate in as many technical discussions as possible as an observer and formulate some good informed questions when they come up. Join clubna-t! Good luck to you, I have a feeling in a year or so we'll see a sweet turbo build thread started by you.

That's what I have been doing. Almost finished with my interior (replacing all seats). All maintenance is done for the time being. Now I am just saving up for some wheels, suspension, and a new paint job.
