Need help first sc300 please!!!!!
Hi my name is james I just bought my first 92 sc300 auto and its bone stock BUT for some reason when the last guy owned it and rebuilt the motor he built it with a twin turbo gasket (not sure why unless he was thinking of the tt swap) but im looking for nice starter semi cheap bolt ons that can increase my performance and give me a good sound. After i get it shipped to me ill post some pics I found it in Pa. with 180 on the tac and the rebuild was at 100 i saw receipts !!!!! Final question is how hard and exspensive is it to turbo it? Im not realy good with my imports i build minitrucks and work on small blocks haha so plese any help would be amazinG!!!!

wow! I'm confused by everything you wrote...in my best attempt to answers some of your question. 1. no such thing as cheap bolts on that will increase your performance and sounds. If you're going to get an exhaust, get a full cat (price will vary single or dual)? expect to spend between 500-1000 unless it's custom. Some exhaust system are more then that. 2. not hard to turbo the SC, it's not too expensive...you could save it you do it yourself-may I make a suggestion? get a owner's manual and attempt to learn the in and outs of your car. this will help you tremendously...most importantly, use your search function. There is a lot of DIY on this forumn...if you're thinking it, then chances it's already been done. 3. What is your overall goal? Are you building a show car, drift car, or a street bruiser, etc. When you figure this out, CL members should be able to help you reach your desired endstate...Good luck, and welcome to CL...
