Hey guys, im new here but from what i can tell this would be a fairly likely place to get my question answered. I have been looking around on here for a couple days and havent seem to come up with anything.

ok so i have an sc400 with a 1jz swap with an auto (a340e). not sure who preformed the show as this is how i bought the car. the issue i am having is it does not want to shift past 1st gear. i know most would say ok sounds like your tranny is blown, the tranny was replaced and it is doing the same thing. any ideas on where to begin?

Have you check you oil level? Might be a sensor that's out.

oil and tranny fluid is fine. im thinking a sensor too, just not sure where to start

Who did you wiring for the swap? Sounds like its a wiring issue to me. This is your second tranny and its doing the same thing? Id say check wiring first mabey issue in the shift valve bodie..
