Question SC300 Auto Trans Lever Loose/Vibration

Love my one owner 92 SC300 with 183k miles. Recently the automatic trans shift lever has been feeling sloppy when moving the shift lever into/out of gear. The lever even vibrates at 60mph on occassion.

Can the linkage, etc. be tightened? Can it be accessed through the interior? Is this a sign for more serious trouble? Shifts fine.

yes go underneath your car there will be a metal bracket right under the beginning of the drive shaft. You can tighten the linkage up mine needs two 11 mm wrenches to do so. very easy.
