Default Braided oil pressure line resizing?...

does anybody know how i can resize my oil pressure line? it has a hole but i have like 7ft of line but i only need maybe three. can anyone guide me thru this process or atleast give me a rough guess as to what i will need to do this so i dont have to go to a hydro shop or sum place. thanks

This stainless steel braided line with AN fittings?

If so, remove the fitting and cut the line to the length you need.
Russel fitting?
XRP fitting?
etc...

They should have a step by step guide showing you how to assemble the fitting correctly.

thanks but unfortunately the fittings on the line already look like there some kinda one time install deals. i cant figure out where to take it apart. its just looks like a different setup than normal. i've done the powers teering pressure mod that ive seen on here but this oil line doesnt seem to work the same as my power steering line.

Sounds like it may be pressed fittings. If you take it too a place that does hydraulic hoses, they can probably help you. My local Napa does it, so yours may.
