Cool Need help with turbo

WAZ UP IM NEW TO THIS FORUM THING OK SO I GOT A LEXUS SC300 FOR 900 BUCKS! FROM SOME RUSSIAN GUY HE GOT THE CAR BACK IN 95 AND HE GOT DEPORTED OR WAS GOING TO SO HE WANTED TO SELL IT ASAP HE DIDNT REALLY CARE ABOUT THE PRICE I SAID I GOT 900 HE SAID FINE LOL
ITS A 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANNY 2JZGE WITH 180K MILES RUNS LIKE A CHAMP NO PROBLEMS AT ALL NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NOTHING LIKE NEW.

MY QUESTION IS THIS, I WANT TO SINGLE TURBO THIS CAR BUT A SMALL TURBO NOTHING CRAZY NO 500HP I DONT WANT TO SPEND SO MUCH MONEY BUT SOMEWHERE AROUND 280HP/320HP LIKE A "STARTER" TURBO , WHAT TURBO CAN I BUY? AND IF I BUY THE TURBO CAN I JUST PUT THE TURBO ON WITH OUT DOING ANY CHANGES TO THE ENGINE?(KEEP THE ENGINE STOCK) THANKS!

damn that's a good find! as for the turbo kit, you can find them cheap on ebay or build your own custom turbo kit like i did...

coool..im guessin building your own is cheaper then buying one off ebay? ..and another question if i buy one of ebay I heard the max i can go with stock inter. is 8 PSI? I don't want to blow this engine up in a month lol would you recommend just 8 PSI to start?

The stock internals will handle well over 8psi, I ran 9psi on stock compression and fuel. Just be sure your maintenance is done, bump to 9psi.

for a decent "starter" na-t kit, check out the XS Power kit on clubna-t.com. I still have some na-t parts if your interested, it will atleast get you started, just drop me a pm.
