Default Swap wiring question?

Ok guys I am rdy for my turbo swap in my sc. When I make my purches I would like the easy rout for wiring. So I have done a few searches on the net and have not found exactly what I am looking for. I know I am going to buy a rear sump engine. What engine should I buy and what is the easy and best wiring option I have for this? Thank you guys...

Do you have an SC300 or SC400 that will make the difference. 1JZ + 2JZ (GTE) will drop right up in a SC300. Both good motors you can find a lot of info on them by googling them. They will also fit in a 400 with some modifications though

I have an 95 sc300. I want a 2jzgte but I might go with the 1jzgte depending on my wiring option. I am not sure but would the soarer 1jzgte wiring be the best?

if you look around, you are going to run across a lot of JZX90 1JZ's. they will work, but with modifications. the oil sump is wrong, u will have to cut a hole for the shifter if its an r154 chaser engine and your SC is a manual, and the wiring will be difficult to find information on. The ecu is fine, but the harness that comes with the JZX90 doesnt work on a JZZ30 chassis without some cutting and splicing. This is the dreadful step that I have reached, and I do not want to pay $XXX for a simple wiring harness, when I could do it if I had the body plug pinout for a JZZ30 and the engine harness pinout for the JZX90. Good luck finding a soarer front clip, because it will make life a lot easier but they are really rare, and probably more expensive.

have you used the forums search function? cause all the questions your asking have been answered.

You want the engine and harness from a Soarer, then all you need to do is extend the harness. The Chaser harness has been tried and failed, and seems to be a PITA.

But in all honesty, and no offense to 1JZ owners, if you can get a 2JZ (JDM) why even bother with the 1JZ? A bpu 2JZ will yield higher gains than a 1JZ bpu, and they can be found with an R154 for a tad bit more than a 1JZ

Ok ok I understand. I have used the search on this forum and maby I am typing in the wrong words cuz I havn't been able to find exactly what I am looking for. I am sorry about that. I have been looking at other threads and you are right I am going to go
2jzgte JDM but now I have to figure out what type of 2jzgte to get. I have spent a ton of time just reading all the swap threads and everything trying to get the info but after reading for hours lol i start to forget somethings. Thanks for the info...
