Default Tampa FL - Need Reputable INEXPENSIVE Torque Converter Swap 93' SC400

Hello all,

I've gotten a new Transmission installed in my car - along with a DACCO re-manufactured TC... problem is - the DACCO Torque Converter is out of balance and gives my now technically working car a massive shudder/vibration that is certain to break something if I drive it for very long. So, DACCO will replace (or even fully refund my purchase) the TC for a new one but I need to get it *out* of the car..... and the guy who was working on my ride is too busy to drop the trans again :/ and he was doing it for $150...

Any suggestions of places to go - or even if you can do it yourself for that price and you have a small local shop you work in?

Please let me know Thank you in advance. My ride is a 1993 SC400

In Tampa we toss torque converters in the trash and add clutches :-)

Your going to have a hard time finding anyone willing to do that job for $150, unless its a driveway job and the person is hungry.
