Cool Stuck steering column

Any remedies out there for a stuck steering column on a 94 SC300 without seeing the dealer? It still works fortunately but I can't adjust it up or down. I can hear the mechanism when the button on the column is pushed up or down but sounds like the gears aren't engaging, maybe stripped.

Thanks!!!

I think it might be in the DIY collection in the general forums on the 6th link down, or you can just search for "Tilt Steering" or "Tilt Steering repair" should help you out.

Thank you much....., and I'll keep you in mind for parts. Nice to know we have somewhere to go.
