Have you tried looking it up in an owner's manual?

Have you checked your oil? It is the oil pressure light. I got the same thing when i first installed the oil cooler, the system was still building pressure, and it only lasted for a second or less. The fact that it only comes on when you stop makes me think that your system isn't building enough pressure at idle!

BTW You need to give more information about the car for people to be able to make suggestions.

the light came on momentarily and i tried to take a pic of it, but it was too blurry. it is to the right of the "abs" light within the rpm gauge.

also i checked my oil right after i shut down the engine and the dip stick was fine. then i waited a few minutes for it to cool down, and there is barely any oil showing. the wierd part is that i see no evidence of oil leaks. the ground right over the engine is dry. i checked the oil cap and there was oil. hmmmm...

Oh, for crying out loud man....add some freakin oil to that poor thing!

That's the "Low Engine Oil Level" warning lamp!!!

And get yourself an owner's manual while your at it.
