Default Ok decided 1gzgte goes into my sc300

I have decided due to price and etc that i will go for 1jzgte im just in need of all the info i can get on the swap. Also if i get the engine from a supra is it still a plug and play or is that just from the soarer. Thanks guys i will post pictures and videos as i go once i decide which engine to get i will inform you all.

trust me when i say you are half correct. True, the plugs match up to the SC3 body, but it's not plug and PLAY. A few wires are switched around on the body plugs and need to be re arranged properly in order to work. also you need to extend the harness in order for it to reach the other side of the car.

Use the forum search function, google, etc. You'll need to put some bits of into together, but it's otherwise all there.

like stick3 stated, it aint just plug and play, especially if you have a 95, trust me i know. but getting a soarer swap makes it tons easier. i wonder, what if you just extended just the body plugs, but made a custom bracket with heat shielding material under the hood for the ECU to be in so you didnt have to extend all the wires. i know the GS have the ECU under the hood...food for thought.
