Cool Considering Buying Used SC300, Need Advice!

This is my first post to ClubLexus.com, but I have been viewing it for quite a while now and it has got me wanting an SC300, perhaps 400. My previous vehicles were a '93 Prelude Si and a '95 Mazda Millenia, and those cars are both gone now, so I am in the market.

What I want to ask of you SC guys, how much performance potential is there for the SC, mainly the 300? I know you can get turbo kits and such and easily modify it to the SC, but I do not have enough cheeze for that yet. Are there any intakes/headers specifically made for the SC300? Also, are there any handling mods like strut and sway bars, and so on? Sorry if these are ignorant questions, but I just don't know much about aftermarket Lexus parts at all...

i'm not sure what you are looking for but am kinda guessing you want to go the performance route. if so i would recommend a sc300, perferably with a 5-speed. some will ask why and i can honestly judge between the two because i had both of them. the sc300 with the same suspension and basic upgrades is faster and easier to drive versus the sc400. ( i know i'm asking for trouble )
as in upgrades there are quite a few since many of the parts are the same as an n/a supra. so if you're interested in any of them e-mail me
