How much does a stock 2jz-ge weigh?

Um, well, I just had a 2JZ-GE with no power steering pump, no alternator, no starter, no compressor, no MAF, and no exhaust shipped to me and it says 279 lbs on the slip. It does have the water pump, the distributor, and throttle body. The 650 lbs number must have come from the turbos and everything, as well as the GeTrag bolted on. That is one MASSIVE tranny.

BTW, that is Clint's car. The stock 5-speed tranny is MUCH MUCH MUCH smaller than the Getrag 6 speed. Plus my engine does not have all of that shiney loveliness known as a turbo and manifold on the side. FYI, the stock stick is very beefy compared to other brands, but that 6 speed looks like it needs to be bolted up to a semi. Tough stuff.
