Default BOV 2jz-ge question

Hi,
I just joined CL because I bought a sc300 5spd recently. I got a Garrett turbo (for free ) and I'm going to build my own kit (on a budget I am a starving student). So my problem is I live in California and I plan on making this my daily driver probably only looking to go 8psi (I know probably a waste of a good turbo) does anyone know of a good Blow off valve that doesn't scream pull me over?

Is it just me, or can anyone else see where this is heading?

(Honestly man, it's not that I'm wishing anything but the best for you, but I gotta be honest, your situation is less than optimum for starting a turbo build...just sayin! )

I agree ^ but to answer any recirculated BOV will not scream. More like a polite fart.

trust me, you're better off simply waiting till your done with school and start getting a decent income. Patience is very key when doing something like this. Take my advice and work on finishing school first, get your life in order, THEN start on a turbo kit. You'll save yourself a ton of time and $$$, also the extra cash buildup will get you some good parts, rather than the "discount" used items in the fleabay isle.

you have a long way to go ,a turbo is nothing close to even having your car turbo.

Why are you even worrying about a BOV right now?

And how did you come to the decision that you only want to run 8psi?
