Default R154 needs a new Clutch kit..

I still have no clue which type of clutch kit to get for the Soarer, if someone can give me a name of a shop, link, brand of clutch, SOMETHING. It would help me out a lot! I hear some good things about Exedy from some of the SoarerCentral guys, but I can't seem to find a good supplier to ship to Canada.

I'm most likely going to replace my clutch soon. I need something that can hold 400-500hp and will be used as a daily driver. It'll also be taken to the track once in awhile, but daily drive-ability is something I'm looking for.

I'm currently looking at this .. http://store.driftmotion.com/static/...kitforr154.php

Opinions?

You simply need a clutch kit for the MK3 Supra 7M-GTE (turbo) car. I used the ACT HD clutch # TS2-HDG6. It is a 6 puck sprung clutch designed to handle 522 lbft. It is stiffer than stock but not too stiff and has a minimal amount of chatter at low RPM drops. I love it! You can get it for a ridiculous price from assaultech (forum sponsor).

As far as clutches go, yes.

yea the old MKIII turbo supras and the Soarer trannys are the same and use the same clutch. I've heard some good reviews on the ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate/ACT street disc combo.

I'm going to look into this, main reason why I'm gonna change the clutch is cause I'm pretty sure the Pilot Bearing is going out..
