How do you make a 1JZ auto ECU work with a SC300 manual?
In other words, if I buy a 1JZ with an auto tranny from JHOT and drop just the motor into my SC300, which already has a W58, how would I make the 1JZ ECU that comes with the motor work in my car?

Not referring how to physically bolt the W58 to the 1JZ, but rather how the ECU from the 1JZ that had the automatic tranny would now deal with the W58 after the swap. Wouldn't the 1JZ ECU think that it still has a 4-speed automatic tranny and #%*& up when the shifts come from the driver?

You just need to do the NSS bypass outlined here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/perf...with-pics.html. I'll give you a hand with it when the time comes. Just let me know.

mine came with a cruise control box, however the harness was cut for it...
with the auto though it requires some inputs from the trans. speed sensor and the 3-4 shift solenoid which has me concerned. This is coming from a 2JZ standpoint, so it may be different with a 1JZ.
