Default 1JZ overheating...

My car started overheating and spewing steam tonight from the back of the engine near the firewall.
It looks like its coming from underneath the valve cover.
It cools off and the steam stops after I shut off the engine for a few minutes but it comes back after a few minutes of driving.
Also my climate control is blowing cold air while this is happening....
I am thinking a hose that goes to the heater core might of come off or have a leak in it. Any ideas?

I circled the area where the coolant/steam is coming from....
Ill try and get better pics tomorrow..

add coolant if you HAVE to drive. you have a coolant leak\hose popped off somewhere. Your heater core doesnt have any water flowing through it which is why it blows cold air. Your leak sounds like its coming from the back of the head. Theres a hard pipe that makes a "U" around the back of the motor that carries coolant. Theres also a coolant hose coming off the passenger rear of the head (which is more than likely the culprit)
