holset turbo users or anyone. help need oil restrictor size?
 

So for a 2jzgte what size oil restrictor should I use? I have a holset h1e I ran it on na-t and i think i was putting to much oil in it with just connecting a 4an straight to it from a fitting from the oil filter bolt to the turbo. I searched around and found sizes but it was in like the truck forums and lke dsm forums.. and pressure might be different i don't want to blow the turbo again after I rebuild it. so any inputs? thanks everyone!

so i think the answer is pretty much there who wants to do the math for me for 2jzgte and 4an line.

Sorry i couldnt help but how do you like the overall performance of the he1? Ive thought about the hx35.

The hotside is kinda big so when i had it on the ge boost kicked in at like 4000-4500 but when boost kicked in it pulled hard. My be with the 2jzgte it will build boost sooner we'll see. but other than that its a cheap reliable turbo. I like it I'm sticking with it. if you don't mind the boosting at 4000-4500 then its a good turbo.

The cars is my dd so feeling like stock when i want at low rpms then boosting when when i push the pedal is cool to me.


soooo anyone have info in the oil restrictor size with a 4an feed?
