is the 92-96 sc400 differential a good LSD?

I need to get rid of this non posi sc300 diff as soon as possible.

the sc400 diffs are so cheap. are the decent?

no LSD was ever offered for the SC300/SC400. Do a search on the Supra TT auto diff. Usually cost a lot though ($700-$1000)

srry bout that. my buddy bought an sc300 with a 1jz. just like mine...

the dude he bought it from said he needs a sc400 diff to get rid of the one wheel wonder. so thats what i was going off of.

good i guess im gonna get a trd lsd then. sadly i'll have to have a shop put it in because i am not spending that much on a diff and then ruining it.

soundperformance quoted me at $1300 installed. doesn't sound to bad considering a supra tt one can cost up to a grand.

Their work is legit too, have a few friends of mine that have gone there for their Supras. Really nice shop.

 

and "good" is a reative word... better than a diff in a cts-v? yes. better than a lsd? no
