Turbo'd SC's- Who's Broken the Stock Automatic
 

I was wondering, who has broken their stock automatic tranny and what actually happens when the auto stops working? I've never had an automatic car before this one that I modded... Does it just get stuck in one gear or something? Are you still able to goto neutral and park?

a friend of mine turbo'd his NA and the tranny started slipping until it would barely grab anymore. he was making a little over 300 whp.

Ah, that would make sense of the clutches inside or whatever slipping. Hmmm, Has anyone ever broken anything between it shifting (while doing a pull or something)?

The only reason I'm wondering about this is cause I'm wondering if I can maybe wing it and try to push it a tiny bit on the dyno. :uh:

i have a 2jzgte aristo swap on my sc400 and i know for sure these tranny wont last over 400hp or so...put a transcooler on it it should help a lot and worst come to it..try boostlogic and see if they can build you a tranny...i might end up sending my tranny to them when i'm 500hp or so
