Default Has anyone had this problem before?

I go to start my SC400 this morning expecting to hear my V8 come to life and it sounds like a 4 cylinder with virtually no power. I shut if it off and attempt two more times with the same results. I did notice the car starting hesitate and misfire a few days back and I disconnected the MAF sensor and it seemed to go away although I a CEL. I think the car has 2 coils, two distributors, and two ignitors(never heard of those). Is this a common problem with this vehicle and any idea where to start so I dont throw money away at parts that wont fix the car?

It has happened to me before, and I would say its a semi common problem. You need to replace the rotor caps, plugs/plug wires. Just check your ignition. It happens pretty commonly

Thanks for the help. Turns out it was the LH coil wire broken and hanging on by a couple of strands. I replaced all of the wires and that got rid of the hesitation under light throttle and the misfire under heavy throttle. Shes running good as new now. Thanks again.
