Bad gas mileage, almost failed emissions for HC, need some help please
Since I got my car, a few weeks back I've had no better than 17.5 mpg on a tank... its horrible. I know it should be better than this to some extent.
I've done the 12v fuel mod, cleaned out the EGR entirely, air filter, oil change, plugs and wires. I made another post about my timing, I for some reason cannot get it to 10º BTDC, it was off alot when I got it, but best I can get her to is what I can only imagine to be 20 - 25ºBTDC. After adjusting I still am getting the same mileage. IDK what to check on this thing right now and I'm just looking for some ideas. I have no CEL but I was thinking change out my 02 sensors. I drive normal, and I don't use ECT. Anyone have any other suggestings?
