lol I know this vid is a bit teasing sorry about the length and quality I took it with my crappy phone.. I will post more vids as soon as we get the down pipe done with.. Its kinda hard to believe its a Japanese engine it sounds like an American V8.. I was amazed it ran so well hell this engine hadnt been started in 3 years!.. So far the hood is back on it and the bumper and lights are out to make room for intercooler piping.. i still need to buy a waste gate on ebay and Apexi SAFC.. i think i can use this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/35-38...Q5fAccessoriesit opens at 8psi which is good for the stock head gaskets and i can fool it to open at 10 or 12 with a boost controller.. Gotta sell my ATV first tho im broke

Goodluck brother, I'm so happy it worked out for you. I remember the days my SC was being a pain in the butt until the day I solved everything and it was a fantastic feeling!

If there is one place I suggest not chintzing on, it's the wastegate. I know the budget may be tight but spend a few more bucks and get a quality wg.

Thumbs up

Yea man we started it without a turbo the oil lines aren't setup yet only the return at the sump.. and thanks guys I appreciate the support.. Couldn't work on it today I as helping dad fix an Avalon but I forgot to tell u guys we relocated the driver side coil to prevent it being cooked and placed it ontop of the passenger coil so it's stacked like the igniters. Also cut the turbo flange to re angle the turbo and make the downpipe. For lubrication I got a t fitting at school that threads to the oil line and oil press sensor in the original location of the oil press sensor location on the filter mount. As far as the wastegate do u guys think the eBay ones are garbage? I meen so far the eBay turbos are good I mAde a jet engine using one exactly like my t70 and ran it for 10 mins fullthrote at 1650 degrees F with hydrogen. Man am I itching to get behind the wheel of this thing and feel that v8 boost!! Any suggestion guys as far as the wg?

I use Ebay wastegate with no problem. The key is to run a low boost spring so you don't stress the wastegate. Then run a boost controller to trick it into high boost.

Hey guys Sunday we installed new shocks on the trunk got tire of it falling on my neck when looking for parts.. we re-angled the Turbo to its final position to clear the fuse box, radiator, and Hood, were going to make a 3.5'' down pipe.. here are some more updated pictures of the engine bay i meen the last one here looks like a grenade went off some were near the intake .. oh oh and the two coils we sandwiched upfront.. BTW guys i need to know If I need to put the Mass Airflow Sensor in front of the turbo (meaning between the Air filter and Turbo intake) or after the turbo (meaning between the Inter cooler and Throttle body) I figured it would be infront but Ive seen someone put it after the turbo please let me know guys asap Thanks!
oh and how much boost will these stock head gaskets handle?

Heres the gap between the hood and the Compressor

Impeller Stalking me
