My boy had one and he got fed up with the limited aftermarket parts available for this engine. Unfortunately, your options are to build a custom exhaust manifold which will be expensive or send out your turbo and they can upgrade the stock turbo which will give you around 450rwhp, but that will run you around $700. I think the company that does the turbo upgrade is Driftmotion.

I think i also saw an HKS turbo that was offered to bolt up to the stock manifold. It's not on their US website so i think it's only offered overseas. Costs an ***-load though, better finding a different turbo w/ a custom manifold setup. I'm debating this same thing if and when i decide to swap mine soon.

I'm still deciding at this point, but i would like to. The only thing holding me back right now is the lack of info out there on the swap and aftermarket support. Would make a good new years resolution

I have a 1JZ VVTI turbo. You guys have got to look into JZX100 VVTI manifolds. There isnt much support for Soarer 1JZ VVTI specific stuff but as the Chaser (JZX100) also runs a 1JZ VVTI a lot of the componenets are fine to use. As for me ill be using a Autobahn888 Chaser manifold with a Garrett GT35r with most probably a 0.63 housing.

I am dooing one as we speak, their are a few options for turbo upgrades, upgrade the stock ct15b, or making a t3 plate adapter if you can find a t3 with internal wastegate, im modifying a t61 to fit the stock manifold with a adapter plate, just make sure you get the maf and ignitor,

Question regarding the MAF. Is it possible to use the MAF out of an SC3 or a MKIV? They look the same externally, but i wasn't sure about the connectors.

if you could that would be great. I'm off work next week so i can't get a schematic of the SC pins until i get back.

Judging from some of the pics i've gathered they look VERY similar. Idk if they are interchangeable.
