Default Help with motor swap.. non-turbo

I posted this here because its more active.... I have a 1993 gs (I just got a 96 motor from an sc) and wanted to know, Do I need to pull the original harness off of my 93 and put in on the 96 motor and run the 93 ecu? Can I just slap in the 96 motor and harness/ecu and call it a day?

I just swapped a GS motor from a 95 into my 92 SC...The throttle bodys were different so i changed the entire intake manifold (gaskets are metal and reusable if you need to) Wiring harness had a few differences so I trashed it, Had to swap from the front sump oil pan to the mid sump SC pan...Oil filter housing was different as well as the aluminum motor mounts.... Hope this helps.
