Default AEM EMS+ JDM 2JZ-GTE help please

*****PROBLEM SOLVED, BAD 5 BAR MAP SENSOR******

THANKS cl FOR THE HELP

I have a 1995 SC300 with a JDM aristo swap and wiring harness running a JDM ecu.

I purchased an AEM 1100 box EMS and plugged it in and wired in the 5 bar in place of my "turbo pressure sensor"(sensor pinned at pin 62) loaded a map that a friend gave me from a running supra and changed my injectors and my MAP sensor to a 5 bar.

Car wont start it fires off a tad but will not crank and run.

Does anyone have this swap running on AEM? AEM was not too helpful as they say there is not any calibration used in this application?

Anyone have a .cal file that may be of any help?

thank you in advance

^1, you may also need to put the stock ecu back in and bring it to a tunner. not 1 engine is alike. the map he gave you may be a nice base but you wont see maximum performance out of it.

I did the inline resistors in my harness, runs great on a stock ecu, 400hp easy just was worried about when I would run up on a boost cut if any does exist in the JDM ecu?

haha, I am a tuner, own a shop and a dyno. tune tons of supras, just not many JDM 2JZs in SC chassis before thats all.

all the write ups and .cal files are for either sc300s converting to a map sensor or a US supra converting to a MAP sensor, the JDM car has the map sensor in the right pins, i just think I had a couple of the settings wrong. gonna climb my *** back up under the dash and reinstall everything and give it a shot tomorrow night.

Car was purchased with the GTE in it already so I wasnt sure if there was any screwed up wiring but the car runs beautiful on the stock ecu

Car has GM TH400 tranny, welds, mickey thompsons, DSS drive shaft, etc. Pretty much a weekedn warrior

Leaves ridiculously hard on the transbrake even on the stock ecu!!!

Just wanted to see if there were actually people running a JDM motorin a US chassis on the AEM with the JDM harness and not a conversion from MAF to map, wow thats alot

You can run any injector size you want with a standalone.

I just bought a brand new greddy speed cut eliminator. I didn't realize the ECU I'm going to run has one built in. PM me if your interest I'll sell it cheap. It's only $75 new.

He probably meant low/high impedance. I believe low is preferred.

My ecu wont accept a greddy scc i already have one.I called AEM and they told me it will accept high impedance 440's as long as you adjust the settings.
