Default 1jz swap very odd problem

so im finishing up my 1j swap on my 97 sc also converted it from auto to manual i extended the harness and changed the plugs needed myself. the problem is with no key in the ignition as soon as i hook the battery cables up the car starts turning over like the starter is getting constant power/ground. also if i unplug the starter so its not going crazy turning the motor over the airbag light is on without the key in the ignition.

any thoughts?

ok so im thinking about running a new signal wire to the starter from the ingnition barrel and just bypassing the wire that runs through the engine harness and perhaps see if this solves the problem. does anyone happen to know which wire off the ignition barrel is the 12v signal wire to the starter?

nvm this wont work as i just realized im an idiot and the 12v signal wire runs through the starter relay as well as a 7.5 amp fuse. ill check into those when i get the chance. looks like im solving my own problem lol cmon guys wheres the support

so i figured out the problem figured id post up just incase anyone else runs into this problem in the future. turns out the starter relay went bad and stuck in the open position so it was causing the starter to get constant power and signal so the instant i hooked up the battery it started to turn itself over
