I've never actually changed the water pump myself. Although I replaced my alternator, rebuilt my power steering pump and changed my A/C compressor, I've had timing belt and and water pump changes done by my repair shop. I can say, though, that the shop manual says to use part no. "008826-00100 or equivalent" for the seal packing (Google shows that to be a silicone liquid gasket) and to cut the nozzle to an opening of 2 to 3 mm. The manual says to torque the nut, 5 bolts and 2 stud bolts to 18 nm (13 ft-lbs). I'm sure if you check on ClubLexus or Google water pump replacement, you'll probably find info on the procedure. It's about 5 pages in the manual (the replacement procedure after the old one is removed). If you can't find anything on it, PM me your email and I should be able to scan the pages to a pdf file and send it to you. Hope this helps!
