Very nice! I'm use to seeing zip ties. lol

did you tee the two pump together and weld a bulk fitting?

LexusFTW Oct 6, 2009 08:07 AM

Good luck getting that in the tank...

demon2jz Oct 6, 2009 11:38 AM

demon2jz Oct 6, 2009 11:42 AM

Nice lol... I have never seen that before. That pump on the left side has seen better days. make sure that thew wires are covered up extra cause the seat runs right on it and may wear them down after time. Might cause a spark leading to a fire blah blah blah....

LexusFTW Oct 6, 2009 02:38 PM

good work. are you sing submersible fuel injection hose?

ConSynX Oct 6, 2009 03:20 PM

i'm confused about what happened with the wiring here. . .
Seems people are able to wire a second pump easily, but when I did mine I burned out a wire, hardcore.

demon2jz Oct 6, 2009 04:14 PM

yeah you need a submersible fuel hose

motorheaddown Oct 7, 2009 05:51 AM

Sorry about the crappy pic, but here's another way to do it with worm gear clamps and gas tank filler hose to isolate the pumps from vibration.

NIce setups. I'm curious, do you know the melting point of those zip ties you used to secure the fuel line under the car?

TheRonTom3 Oct 30, 2009 07:25 AM

god the words "low budget" and "fuel" just shouldnt be used in the same sentence

doesn't really matter they will stay there and not melt off lots of people use zipties to route the fuel line than to drill screws for clamps I've had mine ziptied for 6 years and not one broken yet
