Default Knocking after NA-T? Valve tapping? Wired noises.

I just went na-t two weeks ago and I'm starting to get wierd vibrations in the pedal at around 2,500 and up.

I can't tell if it's knock or valve tapping, but I can feel it with my foot and I can hear it.

Anyone else know what this could be?

I'm scared I might have messed up my motor.

It's set at 8.7 psi

I dont think you would feel valve tap through your gas pedal...can you get a video or sound clip of your engine?

detonation/pinging in the motor and you could feel that in the pedal because the motor would be hesitating

What kind of fuel system do you have installed

It is stock fuel.

obd1
map-ecu
8.7psi.

it starts happening at 2,300 and up. it's consistant.

I thought it might be a misfire so i changed out the plugs this morning and it was still doing it.

I have no idea what it is or how to fix it.

easuest way to tell is go to autozone and by a compression testor for 30$ if the compressions read lower than 120-150 the and if one or some of the cylinders read lower then u have to fix it

Auto or manual.

Are you sure the sounds are from engine and not the tranny?

check your ignition timing?

Pinging may be from timing being too advanced.

do you have a wideband? If you can feel it in the pedal you may be running too lean. timing starts to advance above 2k. the stock ecu has probably tried to compensate and done a poor job. reset your stock ecu and check your tune.
