Default 1uz vvti intake question

Since our intake manifold faces forward, would corvette intakes work too? Or do they not fit?

This is just an example

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Corve...=p4506.c0.m245

Any info would be appreciated...seems the VVTI is the black sheep of the two motors

It would end up hitting your fan and radiator.... id go the BFI kit and a K&N panel if I were you.

It's not that the 1uz VVTI motor is a 'Black Sheep'...

It's just that none of us can AFFORD 'em.

Ok yeah, I'll just stick with the BFI and ask Tom to install it for me lol

And lol @ up in the lex...I'll trade mine so I can have boost lol...since apparently the VVT's don't like forced induction on the stock internals, or so I've heard their internals aren't as strong as the non vvt-i's...which never really made sense to me but oh well lol
