Smile '97 SC300 Repair Estimate: All New O2 Sensors & ONE Catalytic Convertor

Curious - how much do you guys think it will probably cost me to have all the O2 sensors and one of the catalytic convertors replaced on a 1997 SC300?

I would just like to get some general feel of how much I may have to spend.

Later,
Tom

Install my own catalytic convertor huh? Please... I've never even changed my own oil and I am not about to start.

Can somene please give me a serious estimate on what it may cost to have all this stuff install by a decent mechanic?

Curiously,
Tom

.

Why don't you call some local shops and find out?

Curiously,

Because it was 3 am when I first thought of this question & I thought you guys might know...?

My bad for not having a monkey wrench & some greasy rags handy on the Lexus forum.

Most muffler shops will cut out your cat and weld a new one in for $150 or so. O2 sensors are expensive but the install should be about an hour of labor. The upstream ones are like minutes, but the downstream ones required me to remove the console to get at the plugs.
