Default supra coolant line on 2jzgte swap

Can someone explain why people are saying you need a supra heater/coolant that connects to the heater core. From the looks of it it looks like the stock one would work fine. If anyone has pictures or could explain why you need this part I would appriciate it.

They look different than the GE ones the bends are in different shapes.
BTW if you can replace them now just go ahead and do it because it they are dryed out and you don't want no old crappy coolant hose to fail on you and it's pain to install them ,i had fun installing mine.

I realize the bends are differnt between the two but what the reason for the different bends do you really need the supra one with the different bends?

No one knows why you need the supra one? Has anyone that has done the swap used the stock one or modified it to work?
