CEL code42 2JZGTE
Popping a CEL code 42 at about 4000 rpm and my number 2 turbo is not coming online. Could these be related? 42 is the vehicle speed sensor. Car runs fine otherwise.

Ahhh.. the Good ol' VSS sensor.. what fun. I don't think being an Aristo will have any kind of impact on the symptoms, but don't quote me on that. If you don't plan on going AEM you can fix this by soldering/splicing a wire behind your ODO. It's been known to fix Idle, twins, O/D blinking, and other little things also.

I had read all about the odo cold solder issue with supras, I just couldn't get anyone to confirm the same issue with an sc odo. Makes sense and I'll splice the wires. I just gotta find out if they are pink and blue like the supra, or different. Any idea?
