You lost me there.

FYI, you can pull the EFI fuse to clear codes / re-set memory without losing seat memory, radio settings, ect...

So much for my good used MAF. When you take the bat. cable off for 1 min. it did not make the elec. tilt go to a preset position, but if you leave it off for 5- min. it does. I just wanted to be sure I was clearing codes. Is the EFI in the engine compartment or kick panel? Thanks for the help KC95, and my 400 is a 95.

Engine compartment, small 30amp fuse on the first row, upper left portion of box if you are standing in front of the car looking into the fuse box.

Just blow it out with air, don't take the chance with cleaning sprays meant for hot wire MAF.
Does anyone know what to do if the MAF sensor was sprayed with cleaner and messed it up on a 1995 SC400?

Impressive. It's not every day you see someone quoted in a 10-year thread bump and they actually respond.

blow it out gently with air, let it dry completely. If its dead you could try cleaning it with a small amount of diluted Windex, it is a mirror after all. then blow it out and let it dry completely again, at least 24 hours. the goal is to get the little mirror clean again, but its easier said than done it is sort of hidden in there. don't stick the air nozzle or can of compressed air all the way down in there, you can dislodge the little mirror too. good luck!
