I posted this question in the performance and maintenance and only got 19 views so i'm posting it here.


Can anyone tell me what would generally happen if an injector or two stopped working or not working enough? and what is the max psi stock injectors can handle? and could too much boost make them not work?

 

well, youd have a few cylinders thatd be misfiring. so your engine would stumble and shake alot. your power would diminish quite a bit. normal fuel pressure should be around 40psi. and i dont think too much boost would cause them not to work. itd be more along the lines of not getting enough fuel from the injectors.
