Default Is it me only...

okay i was wondering, driving my sc400 for one month now and i realize that my car(engine) is real loud and when i accelerate it feels like the engine is overworking and trying to pull hard but it's not. especially at low speed i'm try to gas that sucker but the car feels slow. the car is real loud and feels weak but the engine is soo loud? i have no clue. is it normal? idk is it only me or is it like that for other sc400 owners? cuz driving other cars they seem soo quiet and it doesn't vibrate much and you can't really hear and feel the engine. but for my sc400 it's the opposite.

Default Vibration

Before I bought mine I had it checked out to find the vibration. It was the rubber bushing in the drive line. He also found broken mounts for engine/trans. Any of these could affect the vibration. Mine is super quiet and rides like a dream..

The vibration is definitely not normal.

If the lagging you're mentioning is under 3000rpms in 2nd, then its because the transmission doesn't like to hold first gear. Make sure ECT PWR is engaged and be aggressive with the throttle so it revs to at least 4500rpm in 1st before the transmission drops into 2nd, otherwise the rpms will be too low when it drops to second and the car feels slow.
