Default A/C freon leaked out after 2JZ-GTE swap?

My GTE swap was just finished and when I went to test the A/C, it just blows hot air. The compressor kicks in btw so that's not the problem. Is it possible the freon leaked out while the car sat for a few months without a motor? It blew ice cold before the swap.

It is, try getting the system recharged..

Off topic: Is your swap LEGAL? Did you get it Refferied? If it is, how was the processes getting it legal? Im looking to do a swap, 1JZ preferrably a 2JZ-GTE so I wont have to worry about it if I get rolled up.

My swap is definitely not legal smog wise. I'll try and recharge it with some R12 and hopefully it works!! I can't survive the heat w/o A/C!

If that doesnt work, put in some dye and see what pops up, if any. Its been a royal nightmare on my 400 getting it fixed and locating the problem.

So you tried recharging your A/C and it still didn't blow cold?
