Default R154 on a 2JZGTE

I've searched around trying to find an answer to this one but when ever I try to find it I just get a bunch of stuff about the transmission and the engine but not a combination of the two. I was just wondering a if an R154 transmission can be mated to a 2JZGTE. I plan on going 1JZ fairly soon and would like to at some point go 2JZGTE eventually but the GETRAG is damn pricey it makes it almost unrealistic. If i could use the R154 it would infinitely easier

Yes you can, but you would Have to buy a Bell Housing for your R154, Go to Drift Motion and they will have your answer

thank you both for the help. I had no idea it would be such a cheap part. I was expecting to pay almost as much as a new transmission for just the bell housing. I'm relieved it's so cheap. I do have on more question though. Will the R154 be able to handle significant power increases? I'm figuring the 2JZGTE is a very powerful motor and that transmission is aimed for a less powerful 1JZGTE. At what point does the R154 normally die a loud and painful death?

I would say the the r154 is good up to at least 500hp and probably more unless you plan on beating up on it everyday
