Default upgrading my stock 4-speed (a340)

hey so i know they dont make and straight up shift kits like a B&m or anything for our car but i remember reading something about shimming the valves and i believe the supra forums had a thread with a step by step on how to do it next time i bring my tranny to be serviced im gonna have him do it.

basically just want my tranny to shift harder and shorter

but he wants step- by step instructions on doing it.

can someone point me in the right direction.

thanks in advance

if you want shorter harder shifts just disable the 4th solenoid. I did that and its a little bit too hard now. Search the threads on how to do it. It's as simple as cutting a wire on the ecu. I think it was pin 13 (SLN- a black and red wire)

They don't make shift kits but you can get a modified VB.....http://www.importperformancetrans.co...NCSbbEJxxBcZdy

I have one and like it.
