Default Sudden Rich Conditions

Ok, car is a jdm 2jzgte stock twins.

I have been getting sudden pig rich conditions when I drive the car for more than 25-30 minutes.

Before that time my a/f relatively stay above and around 12 even at an idle of ~700 rpm.

At 25-30 minutes, it suddenly drops to around 10 at idle drops very gradually to a little less that 500 rpms.

Is this normal?

Also, my intercooler piping does get heat soaked from the dual flexalites blowing hot air toward the cold side piping. It feels really hot near the throttle body, but towards the intercooler it is really cool to the touch. Would this affect it? Is header wrapping a good idea?

Also, could the engine be running in open loop mode? I can boost and rev the car above 4k still though so its not in safe mode.
