Default Emissions people don't like seafoam

(not sure if this should have gone here or in performance)

I had a real "duuuh" moment today. It's emissions time so I went through the whole deal....then failed miserably. The hydrocarbon limit here is 220, and I was at 341 Then I remembered I'm still running on a quarter tank of gas with seafoam in it, so I'm sure that's all it is. That just means I have a lot of driving to do to drain the gas and put some fresh 93 octane through the system. Roadtrip!

So..just a warning message to the retarded like me.

fresh seafoam + emissions = FAIL

^^ I think Memphis, 100 miles <----- that way.

These cars run so clean I don't see how anyone fails emisssions. My tests are always below 1% saturation of hydrocarbons. I mean literally NONE. I need to find my test and scan it. I have 250k on my car with original engine, exhaust, and tranny and still turn out those numbers.

Whattttt. Thats gay. Haha. Throughout TN there are places where you dont have to go through, and have to have a good frined there let you register the car with their adress on it, so you dont have to go through....thats the way it works here. Otherwise you go through a pretty easy emmissions..

Murfreesboro actually...only 300 miles or so off

Yeah I've run the car through the past two years and had close to no readings too with 181k. I was a little shocked at first when the HC came back at 329 lol

That's crazy..last year I had just gotten my new header and midpipe on and they kept me there for half an hour discussing it just trying to find something wrong. Lame.

IL no emissions on pre-95

the only OBD2 cars to get are sti and evo. you turn off all the emissions readers and light on the stock ecu. you can still go to the test station and it will tell them your car is all good
