Can Anyone Describe/Pic Where IAC is on 99 SC300?
Please do not provide that thread that has a pic of the sc400...they are NOT located in t he same place.
I searched thru bunches of threads last nite and there is NO description. There is a how-to that sez just remove two philps head screws...but nowhere does it describe where it is. And it is different for OBDII.
So, anyone?

Take a pic of your engine bay and we'll point it out for you.
Another tip is it should have a sticker/print that says something along the lines of "idle control valve" on it with the part number. The VVTI engines are slightly different so some components may be moved/gone.

Hehe... Thought it might be a trick question, but I doubt you'll find one. VVT-i is drive-by-wire, and I'm pretty sure idle air is controlled directly by the throttle plate motor.

there's no IACV in 98+ cars <lexus>. it's controlled directly by the ECU. If you desire to take out the ecu control over idle, there's an excellent thread on My.is forum about it. GL

I don't wanna control it, I just experienced low/uneven idle at a light for a second and wanted to clean the IAC, as others have gotten great results from doing so.
