DO THE EBV MOD WHILE ENGINE IS OUTSIDE OF CAR!

Unless you have the hands of a five year old and awsome finger strength. For those who do not know about this mod, it basically "removes" that dip in the power curve when goin higher boost with the sequential system.

It allows you to boost over 1 bar on just the first turbo itself without eliminating precious prespool for the number 2 turbo!

The problem is you have to work in a very very tight space near the firewall which I just finished.

It took me a total of 4 hours and multiple trips to the tool shop for longer pliers.

I also had to sacrifice the skin off my knuckles to hook up all the associated vacuum hoses.

Here is the info for this mod. It includes concept explaination and the various ways to achieve it (including wrong ways and explanations on why).

Here is another explanation from Stu Hagen on supraforums.

No, the 1jz has twins on parallel 24/7. It has no egcv, iacv, or ebv.

This is only for SEQUENTIAL setups. iirc only the 2jz has the ability to do this.
