And Last question this https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...54-swap-2.html post I found post #23 he says you have to bolt and torque down the pp bolts from the bell housing holes? Doesn't make sense is that true??
not sure if youve already installed but it will make your life easier if you number the holes on your pressure plate catty-corner so you know which to tighten next through the inspection covers
thats how i did it and made it much easier

^Thanks for the tip man. Is that just so you don't forget a bolt? Or it goes in a certain order?

Just to clairify, what version did you go? Bent shifter, or modded shifter housing? From you write up it looks like the first one. Hows the throw too?

No, at least not for a W58. That one's just got the Toyota part number doesn't it?. I believe it's just slightly different than the Lexus one that doesn't have that tab. It fits W58's the same though.

Toyota = 12371‑46090
Lexus = 12371‑46040

Default Shifters

Meangreen1

Those are my shifters not Shern's. We ran both, we didn't like the throw of the goose neck and the JDM extension, so repalced it with an extension we fabricated. Keep in mind the goose neck is a bent Supra stick not the JDM goose neck. The problem is the gooseneck is an attempt to align the stick with the opening in the Lexus making for a long an awkward throw (good chance of hitting the cup holder in 5th as I recall). The extension works great.

Default R154 Transmission Mount

I bought a W58 mount at the dealer and ordered a JDM mount for the R154. The W58 mount fits perfectly behind the V8 for the W58. The only difference between the two is about a 1/2" difference in hole location (ie no need to elongate the holes). We haven't fitted the R154 yet, the pictures shows the part number.

^^ That's the Soarer R154A tranny mount. I didn't think that US Toyota dealer could order those though.

edit: NM, I see you're in Canada

Damn that one looks a lot better, never herd of it mentioned before. But If anyone needs to know the exhaust hanger or w e needs to be ground down a little to work.
