MK4 clutch pedal
I've looked and looked through a hundred threads without a real answer to this question. Does the MK4 clutch pedal and brake pedal assembly work perfectly in the '92 SC300's or does it need some modifications?

I've searched for this as well, as I can get my hands on MkIV stuff pretty easily. I found one thread where someone said they'd done it and it fit perfectly, but that's not enough evidence for me. At some point I may just mock one up and if it fits I'll leave it in place for the future swap, and of course let everyone here know if it works.

I will keep telling everyone this. Dont ****ing do it. Unless you prefer to have your clutch pedal go into the floor and not into the firewall... I cannot get full stroke to bleed it... I had to use an injection bleeder to bleed my clutch.

I don't have prices on the bigger stuff... Just find a SC3 pedal assembly. They're out there. Maybe easier to just do the driftmotion setup, dunno.

I actually called the local dealer, and for all the parts needed inclucing a brake pedal it was 1588.00 for the SC stuff. I heard that MK3 stuff works, but haven't found any evidence proving it. I'm not sure. I'm planning on just doing a wilwood setup or a tilton setup. It's like 400 bucks or something for everything this includes a brake pedal too. If I have to modify anything I'd rather modify mounting points for an aftermarket setup then having to cut, bend, weld, snap, shake, or whatever you gotta do to make a stock setup from another car work in our cars. I'm just sayin

No that's what they quoted me just for all the parts and pieces that go with the manual brake and clutch pedal assemblies. Theres all kinds of parts that go with it. Call your local dealer and ask them. I bet you will be surprised.

The pivot point on the MK3 pedal is different. The pedal goes into the floor rather than back towards the fire wall.
The MK3 pedal is made for a different car so it was made to get full travel by going to the firewall. Well when its on the SC, it is missing about .5" of travel or maybe more because it bottoms out on the floor, not the firewall. It makes bleeding and adjusting the clutch tough.
You also need to extend the piston because if you dont you will not be able to bleed it (it only does about 1/2 travel). I think I extended it about .5" to .75".
Seriously I got so fed up with it. I have to put a lot of preload on it to bleed it and then back it off so its not slipping the clutch. And its not fun doing it.
It was not worth the money saved. I wish from the start I got the SC300 pedal so I wouldnt have to deal with it.
I got it pretty much good now... but it took about 10-20 hours of bull **** total to get it OK, not perfect.
