Default AEM UEGO and stock o2 sensor question..

I have searched here and there and both near and far..I have read several places that there is a way to wire in one of the stock o2 sensor wires for the ecu to the UEGO, but cant find anything more than people just talking about it and not explaining how to do it...

anyone want to chime in and slap me with some info? cause if i can avoid having both stock o2 sensors and the wideband that would be nice..

also does any one have a part number for a threaded style o2 oem replacement? need to get them before the turbo goes on

It depends on the wideband 02 controller's output. Many of them have a lower voltage analog output that satisfies the stock ECU, but some do not. The Innovate Motorsports stuff (LC-1,LM-1) has a dedicated lead that is pre-programmed to feed your stock ECU with a low voltage signal that mimics the (removed) stock 02 sensor. This output is also programmable to some extent that you can trick the ECU - i.e. you can shift this narrow band output up or down to make the car run leaner or richer. I've played with this in the past and running the car a little richer makes it a smoother transition to boost on a NA-T car. Otherwise, there is a more drastic change in AFR when going from closed loop to open loop.

you can take out one of your stock O2 sensors, and put the wideband in its place. From the controller there should be an narrowband output. Just wire the output from that, back to the existing stock O2 wires.

Then viola, that uego controller acts as both. But I think that for this to work it has to be in the primary O2 sensor location.

looks like you have to set you eugo to setting p4 for voltage from 0-1V, and use the white wire.
