Bringing car up to the shop today woohoo.
Update--Finished soldering a ****** load of wires. new plugs are in. Cleaned it up a lil just to see how bad valve cover seals are leaking.
I need to know how you other 1JZ guys routed the water lines off the back of the motor???

I will have to source em out, shops around here quote 180 a piece, I Think thats a lil high.
I have more pics but I have been up for 20 hours a day all week and doing it again tomorrow.
QuickGS300--Thanks for the part number, I am staying twins now and will get parts for the single down after this deployment. Yea holiday rotation, I also want to try out the 1.5JZ option since my bottom end is good I presume,I have had no issues.swapping trans tomorrow morning and then waiting on mounts. put in all the intercooler stuff and clean the bay up a bit. Ya'll take it easy I'm passing out.

Are u pulling the head off? if not you can just the 2JZGE Valve cover Gasket it works perfect with the 1J.
If you are going 1.5J you will need to extend the water neck that goes from the head to the water pump, you will have to extend the part that slide in the water pump ,and other thing i forgot what it was.
1.5J I will end up going to route when am going single.

No I am not pulling the head right now. Trying to organize all spare parts till the engine mounts come in. Thanks for the info. Debating on a new clutch right now because I have to wait on mounts, might as well order other stuff.

Spec stage 2+ is on the way along with a new flywheel.
Just got my parts from driftmotion in and a lil concerned.
I recieved two engine mounts, throttle cable and SIX flywheel bolts. Sent them an email just now so hopefully we can get this sorted.
EDIT:Two more bolts are on the way USPS. Thanks Aaron.

I will have all parts as soon as I hear back from Zack about my intercooler pipe, and HPF ships my flywheel on monday. Clutch is in route along with the other two flywheel bolts. Getting three bottles of trans fluid(the pennzoil sychromesh), Already have two oil changes ready to go in it then I can start using real oil. I want to flush gunk out of it, If there is any.
Oh and as of yesterday I have a Niece, Woohoo.

Let me know if Zack give you problems I'll go give him a swift kick in the mummy daddy parts for you. My car was originally swapped by one of the guys that works up there at Jhot and they are a sponsor on my site they are really good to work with and if you need JDM parts they are the people to go to.
