Default annoying intermittent 1JZ issue

Hey all. Recently Ive been having some weird issues my my 1jz swapped sc300. Its been developing the worst misfire ever, at random. Its always cyl 1 and 4, that go out, but sometimes its a lot worse than other times and it feels like maybe 1 or 2 extra cylinders are out. from searching on here and doing some checks myself on the car, it seems that it is the ecu causing the injectors not to pulse. But whats weird is that the problem is completely intermittent, sometimes it will start and run perfectly, and sometimes it will sound like a WRX, and sometimes it will sound like a harley...

the ambient temperature seems to have a lot to do with how it starts also, if the windows are up and its parked in the sun and 9000 degrees in the car, then it will run like **** until i pull it into the garage and let it cool off... that was the rule until today. its been in the garage for a few hours now, nice and cool and it is still running like a soft tail FML ive gotta be at work at 3:30!

any suggestions?

ive checked and rechecked all the connections. ive got it running now, but it still runs like crap and on only 3-4 cylinders. the weird thing is that after about 3-4 miles of driving, it clears up and runs fine! what could cause it to run like crap for the first few miles of driving only?!

I dont know what could be causing it to clear up. Might be the coils or coil plug wiring.

Have you jumped E1+TE1 to check for codes?
